Bachelor of Science
I have a bachelors degree in Computer Games Technology, which is graded First class with honours. It was a full three year degree, sharing a base curriculum with Computer Science. The majority of modules were either programming or technology based.
My dissertation and associated final year project, was based on the research and implementation of “Enhanced co-operative AI”, with the intention of creating new AI bots from scratch. These were primarily designed to replace an existing rudimentary bot implementation within the game Codename CURE.
The Microsoft Prize
Shortly before graduating I was selected to receive the university’s Microsoft Prize award. The award was for the best overall performance on a technology course, which included a cash prize. I was invited to a formal reception and awards ceremony, along with prize winners in other faculties.
In 2011 I qualified for and became a member of Mensa, the high IQ society.
In 2010 I completed a BTEC National Diploma in IT Practitioners (Software Development), and achieved Triple Distinction. I also have nine GCSE’s (or equivalents) at grades A-C, and extra-curricular qualifications in Music Theory.
